Sunday Funday – Enduring Eye

The fifth Library and Oglesby Trusts funded Sunday Funday on 17 April 2016 was themed on the fascinating ‘Enduring Eye’ exhibition. It offered a whole host of expedition inspired events for all ages. Family-friendly events on the day included arts and crafts activities, face-painting, plus storytime sessions for tiny tots in the Children’s Library. Some of Manchester’s most treasured books, historic maps and artefacts from around the globe were exhibited in a special handling session. We also had a special guest pop in to Manchester Central Library, Sir Ian McKellen!
